As 2024 is coming to an end, we're taking the opportunity to reflect on our achievements of the last year.
We opened our new office in Mamelles, Dakar, Senegal and are opening our co-working area in early 2025! Come visit us!
We have welcome Aminata Diop to the team as our administrative assistant, who'll strengthen the handling of invoices, office management, administrative processes and also some business development activities
We have successfully completed the final evaluation of GIZ's largest Public Private Partnership project with Orange Training digital skills – fostering employment “Innovation third places - Orange Digital Center in a consortium with Scio Network GmbH & Co KG as lead, coordinating on-site evaluation visits as well as collecting and analyzing online surveys from ~2000 respondents!
We have worked with Visuapps GmbH, an Austria e-Health interoperability solution provider on bringing the first 3 African e-Health solution providers to participate in an IHE Connectathon, where they were able to test their solutions with European solution providers and earn international interoperability certificates. Thanks to Invest for Jobs and BMZ / GIZ for making this possible!
We kicked off the Onehealth Capacity Development program at the Africa Health Tech summit 2024 - funded by GIZ's OHDAA program.
We won funding from Grand Challenges Sénégal with a consortium composed of DIT, ApiAfrique and It4life to improve Weerwi's chatbot to improve information on menstrual health - try it out here.
We were able to install our first pollution monitor at a school in Dakar and start our first project in the environment sector, more on this soon!
For 2025, we are planning to continue to strengthen our role as a key actor in the West African and Senegal digital ecosystem. We're continuing to mature as a firm and to improve processes, and we'll introduce some organization changes to reflect this. We'll create more partnerships to deliver more impactful and innovative projects leveraging digital technologies. If you have ideas for collaborations, please do reach out!
