Café e-Santé #32 : Interoperability in West Africa
Global standards, local approaches
Join us for the 32th Café e-Santé of the Senegalese eHealth Community
Interoperability means that information systems developed by different manufacturers can easily connect and communicate with each other.
The ability to share data is essential in e-health, as patient care and monitoring must be properly coordinated. Not all professionals use the same software and there are variations between providers. The data from all these software packages must be combined for proper patient follow-up.
The objective of this panel will be :
To have feedback on the implementation of interoperability in Gabon and Tunisia
Identify the challenges of implementing patient records in Senegal
Explore a practical case for using health data
Identify the synergies to have at sub-regional level for more impact?
Panelists :
Prof. Cheick Bagayoko (Mali) - Director of the Centre for Innovation and Digital Health at the University of Sciences, Techniques and Technologies of Bamako in Mali (CERTES)
