Café e-santé #39: Digital health & One Heath
Integrating human, animal and environmental dimensions
Join us for the 39th Café e-Santé of the Senegalese eHealth Community
Recent health crises have highlighted the deep interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health. The One Health concept, promoted globally, advocates for a multisectoral and integrated approach to better prevent, detect, and respond to health threats.
In Africa, challenges such as zoonoses, food security, antimicrobial resistance, and climate change impacts are particularly pressing. Digital tools can act as catalysts by enhancing surveillance, improving information sharing across sectors, and strengthening coordinated responses.
Café e-santé #39 explores how One Health approaches can be reinforced through digital solutions, spotlighting concrete experiences, local initiatives, and opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.
